The second stage of Contemporary Canvases, the project celebrating the collaboration between Tessitura Attilio Imperiali and Segre & Schieppati, was presented recently. The group of artists came to visit the Company, explored its spaces, got to know its environments and production cycles, the emotional stimuli and the materials. Each artist adopted a sample of the shoes and bags proposed and began a production process, a real happening in 48 hours. Lines, symbols, geometrical shapes, sketches and watercolours. The visions of the young artists took shape and colour on the fabrics Raso Imperiali 1004 and Canvas Olona 3212, the flagship products of Tessitura Attilio Imperiali and Segre & Schieppati. Hands and inks produced works in a large format, with strong contemporary influence, that were then expressed in the punching dies. Cottons and silks will then become the perfect place for a story in images, at the next stage of the project, Linea Pelle October 2017, where the hand-painted prototypes will be on show.
